Regular cannabis seeds can grow into both male and female plants. Many experienced growers stick to regular seeds simply because they prefer true cannabis plants that are least unlikely to turn into hermaphrodites. Regular Cannabis Seeds

Regular cannabis seeds can grow into both male and female plants. Many experienced growers stick to regular seeds simply because they prefer true cannabis plants that are least unlikely to turn into hermaphrodites. Hermaphrodite cannabis plants generate seeds in the plant, and since the plant focus more on producing seeds rather than bud, cannabis growers steer clear from them. Sensimilla or seedless buds are more effective, which is why you grow cannabis strains at home in the first place. Since regular seeds aren't modified in any manner to alter the sex of the plant, cannabis growers truly appreciate them. Although it's not possible to recognize the sex of the plant while it's still a seed, a 50/50 chance of male/female ratio is considered appropriate. Regular seeds also give you the opportunity of breeding several cannabis plants and conduct experiments to delve further into the science of the cannabis kingdom. For instance, your favorite plant can be isolated as the mother and pollinated with male pollen of the same strain to produce seeds while keeping the genetics intact. If you do not wish to experiment, however, regular cannabis strains can still be grown efficiently. All you need to do is remove the male plants as soon as they are identified. While female plants produce pistils, the male plants produce pollen. Another way to identify them is to look for oval pods or balls in the male plant and calyxes shaped like teardrops in the female plants. It's recommended to sow more seeds than usual if you're planting only regular cannabis strains because it allows you to make up for the male plants that will be discarded later on. Basically, the type of strain you choose is a matter of preference, but regular seeds are more suited for experienced growers that understand a thing or two about growing spectacular cannabis.
